Boulevard Oaks is a 125-acre commercial development project located along the C147-00-00 channel in the City of Houston.
Portions of the site is located within the flood hazard areas of the channel, and requires fill to elevate the future building pads above the 1% annual chance floodplain. Further, the Harris County Flood Control District is developing a Preliminary Engineering Report that includes elements for modifying the C147-00-00 channel and C547-01-00 detention basin in an effort to reduce flood risks for existing developments within the floodplain.
