Established in 1908, the Houston Country Club is a luxurious private club conveniently located in the Tanglewood area of Houston. The WGA team was part of the club’s 135,000 SF renovation and expansion. The project included the addition of approximately 72,000 SF to the men’s locker room, banquet center, dining area, and the fitness center. Additionally, there were 63,000 SF of renovations to the women’s locker room, the a la carte kitchen, banquet kitchen, tennis and pool café, and other existing buildings. The scope of work also included the addition of a new 5,000 SF central plant that incorporated new chilled water, heating water, domestic hot water, and normal and emergency electrical services. Lastly, miscellaneous site development included modifications to drives, parking, landscaping, and utilities.
